Appeal after non-stop collision involving child

We are appealing for information after a driver left the scene of a collision involving a child in Cannock recently.

The collision took place on Burntwood Road, Norton Canes, between 3pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday 13 May.

A silver or white medium-sized car was involved in the collision with the boy who was on his way home from school.

The boy suffered an injury to his ankle which has since required hospital treatment.

We are keen to identify the vehicle and speak to the driver in relation to careless driving and leaving the scene of a collision.
